Rode the Playground yesterday

What a first ride! The ride up was a little snowy of course, and there was a bit of new dead fall in the way. The snow was patchy with a few knee deep spots, nothing you couldn't walk through though. All the stunts, aside from the first A frame, you could totally ride, which is awsome! The teeter tooter close to the end just before the wooden angeled hit(not sure what to call it) is totally crushed by a tree. I think that happened last season but im not sure. I'll probably go for a walk with my chain saw and the dog on Tuesday. I like a little maintenance. Anyway thats all for now.

Great Spring Riding

Mountain biking in Lethbridge has been going for some time now, except for after a rainy day or two, the trails are in great shape. The Crowsnest Pass is starting to dry up, this weekend Casey, Neil and I rode Good riddence. The trail is in excellent shape, clear of dead fall and only has a little snow near the top. We rode up from Fireman's park in Bellevue, taking the upper road which was dry and clear the entire way. Sunday Casey and I rode Nez Pearce creek trail and this trail aswell is clear of snow and debres, unless you can call people from Calgary debris, in that case there was a bit. Chances are that this trail will likely be shut down to mountain bikers once there is a few confrontations between city folk and mountain bikers.
